Meet Liz

Liz Doyle Carey is a Sotheby’s International Realty® "Exceptional 100" agent who specializes in Hamptons real estate and a luxury, detail-oriented real estate experience for all of her clients. A lifelong second home owner in East Hampton, Liz moved full time to her home in Amagansett in 2020 after a successful career as an author, editor and publisher of children's books in New York City. Using her experience in media, branding, and advertising, Liz excels at creatively positioning properties to tell their best stories. As a Sotheby’s International Realty® agent, Liz has earned the Rising Star award, secured a position among the Top 100 Sales Associates of company-owned brokerages, made the list of RealTrend's 2024 and 2025 Top 1.5% of Agents in the United States by sales volume, and holds membership in a number of prestigious Sotheby's Realty referral groups.

A lifelong summer resident of East Hampton, Liz grew up in New York City, where she gained insight into the luxury auction world through her parents’ business, Doyle New York. Her upbringing instilled in her the values of discretion, integrity, customer service and hard work, as well as a keen understanding of market trends, taste, provenance, and research. An alumna of the Spence School, Andover, and Macalester College, Liz possesses an extensive network and is an active volunteer. She serves on the board of managers for the East Hampton Library and the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, among other local endeavors. She resides full-time in Amagansett with her husband, a general contractor, and they have three grown sons.
